On July 28, local time, the China-Utah Economic and Trade Exchange Conference was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to attend and deliver a speech. Jonathan Friedman, President and CEO of the World Trade Center in Utah, USA, Peng Jing, Commercial Counsellor of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and David Stirling, founder and CEO of Dotrey, attended and delivered speeches. Ren Hongbin said that Utah is rich in natural resources, has outstanding location advantages, and is highly complementary to the Chinese industry. China is speeding up the development of emerging industries such as next-generation information technology, biomedicine, and new energy sources, thoroughly implementing the “Artificial Intelligence +” initiative, and vigorously developing a green and low-carbon economy. The key industrial chains of the two sides are highly compatible, and the prospects for cooperation are broad. The China Council for the Promotion of Trade is willing to join hands with the US business community to build a high-quality exchange platform to make more contributions to promoting the healthy, stable and sustainable development of Sino-US economic and trade relations. US business representatives believe that China is not only an important market for Utah, but also an important partner. We look forward to strengthening ties with Chinese enterprises through platforms such as the Chain Expo to better develop international cooperation in the industrial chain supply chain. The exchange meeting was co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of Trade and the World Trade Center in Utah, USA. China Exhibition Group promoted the 5th Chain Expo on site. Business representatives from China and the US had in-depth exchanges on the fields of transportation and logistics, brain-computer connectivity, intelligent equipment, healthcare, science and technology education, and cross-border trade.
