The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Thursday, the stock price of Oracle (ORCL.US) rose. As of press release, the stock had risen more than 7% to $126.26. Earlier, Oracle announced the expansion of cooperation with Google Cloud to introduce the Google Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) model into its enterprise application platform to provide enterprise customers with more generative AI tool options.

According to a statement issued by Oracle, the company's enterprise customers will be able to use the Gemini model through Fusion Applications' AI Agent Studio in the future. In addition, Oracle also plans to embed the Gemini model into Oracle Fusion Applications and Oracle NetSuite to provide support in more built-in AI application scenarios and further enhance the intelligent capabilities of enterprise applications.

This collaboration further deepens the partnership between Oracle and Google that has continued to expand over the years. The two sides initially cooperated on cloud infrastructure, and in recent years the scope of cooperation has gradually extended to the field of artificial intelligence.

It is worth noting that Oracle does not limit enterprise customers to its own AI models, but instead uses Gemini as another option in its AI tool ecosystem to provide customers with more diverse model support.

Analysts believe that this also reflects the current development trend of the enterprise software industry, that is, platform vendors are increasingly inclined to introduce multiple large-scale language models (LLMs), so that enterprises can flexibly select different AI tools in existing business systems without being limited to a single model provider. As the demand for generative AI applications from enterprise customers continues to grow, an open, multi-model AI ecosystem is gradually becoming an important direction for industry competition.
