Chuncheng Thermal Power (01853) plans to purchase a total of 171,16.52 tons of coal for 7.4571 million yuan

According to Zhitong Finance App, Chuncheng Thermal Power (01853) announced that on July 30, 2026, the Company signed a coal purchase agreement with Changre Group, the controlling shareholder of the Company. According to this, the Company agreed to purchase, and Changre Group agreed to sell a total of 17116.52 tons of coal at a total cost of RMB 7.4571 million.

After considering (a) referring to the Bohai Rim thermal coal price index and market price, the price per ton of coal provided by Changre Group is consistent with the market price; (b) since Changre Group is close to the Group, the Group will benefit from lower transportation costs and lower risk of loss during transportation; and (c) the quality of the coal supplied by Changre Group meets the company's requirements, and the directors (including independent non-executive directors, but not including Mr. Song Chi, who must abstain from voting at the relevant board meeting according to the listing rules and articles of association) believes that the terms of the proposed coal purchase agreement are fair and fair.
