Eurozone's Quarterly GDP Up 0.4% in Q2, Flash Data Shows

05:23 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area's quarterly gross domestic product rose 0.4% in the second quarter, after a revised zero growth in the prior three-month period, flash data from Eurostat showed Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.2% rise. On a yearly basis, the eurozone economy grew 1% during the quarter, against the revised 0.5% gain in the previous three months and the consensus estimate of 0.5% growth.
