Shanghai Pharmaceutical (601607.SH): Rosuvastatin Ezetimib tablets (I) approved for production

(“Changzhou Pharmaceutical Factory”), a subsidiary of the company, received the “Drug Registration Certificate” (certificate number: 2026S02581) for roshuvastatin etimib tablets (I) issued by the State Drug Administration, and the drug was approved for production.

Rosuvastatin ezetimib tablets are suitable for hypercholesterolemia or homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). They were developed by Sanofi-Aventis, S.R.O., and launched in the European Union in July 2014. The trade name is Zenon Neo. In December 2024, Changzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. submitted a marketing application for the drug to the State Drug Administration, which was accepted. As of the announcement date, the company has invested about RMB 9.68 million in R&D expenses for this drug.
