Citibank: Adding Fosun International (00656) to the 30-day upward short-term observation rating “buy”

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Citibank released a research report stating that Fosun International (00656) will be added to the 30-day short-term upward observation and rated as “buy”, with a target price of HK$5.6. According to Citigroup, Fosun announced a positive profit forecast for the first half of 2026, with an estimated profit of about 1.5 billion to 1.8 billion yuan. The median of this range is about 54% of the bank's current profit forecast for the full year of 2026, or about 66% of the market's consensus profit forecast for the full year 2026. The bank believes that higher-than-expected profits may drive Fosun's short-term stock price performance.
