In the first half of the year, electricity consumption in the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries and households increased by 4.9%, 5.1%, 8.0%, and 3.1%, respectively. Among them, the secondary sector is the main force behind the increase in the electricity consumption of the whole society, increasing the electricity consumption of the whole society by 3.3 percentage points. By category, electricity consumption in the high-tech and equipment manufacturing industry maintained a relatively rapid growth trend, with a year-on-year increase of 9.8%, an increase of 6.0 percentage points over the same period last year. Electricity consumption in the consumer goods manufacturing industry increased 6% year over year, an increase of 5.8 percentage points over the same period last year.
