BOC International (03329) spent nearly 8 million US dollars to acquire ORIEAS notes

According to Zhitong Finance App News, BOC International (03329) announced that on July 28, 2026, Preferred Investments, a direct wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, purchased ORIEAS Note I with a purchase price of US$99.01 to US$99.0268 on the OTC market, at a cost of approximately US$4,5357 million; and purchased ORIEAS Bills III with a purchase price of US$102,376 on the OTC market.

According to reports, the issuer of the notes is wholly owned by China Oriental; China Oriental owns about 71.5% of the shares of China Investment Co., Ltd., and China Investment Co., Ltd. is ultimately controlled by the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
