PwC China appoints Zhou Xing as Vice Chairman to continue strengthening public affairs and localization strategies

The Zhitong Finance App learned that, according to PwC China's official WeChat account on July 28, Zhou Xing made her first public appearance as Vice Chairman of PwC China. At the same time, she is also a partner in charge of public affairs. This appointment marks an important step for this international professional services agency to strengthen the local leadership team and deepen public policy services. As of press release, the executive list of PwC China's official website has not been updated with this change.

According to public information, Ms. Zhou Xing is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of professional service experience and a rich history. Prior to joining PwC, she worked at the Shenzhen branch of the People's Bank of China, then worked at PwC's New York and Shanghai offices, where she has both an international perspective and a deep understanding of the domestic policy environment. Ms. Zhou Xing has a bachelor's degree in finance from Renmin University of China and a master's degree in economics from Tsinghua University's Wudaokou School of Finance.

Its expertise focuses on providing advice to governments at all levels on macroeconomic policies, industrial restructuring, improving budget efficiency, and attracting investment. As the managing partner in charge of financial consulting for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics bid, she led the preparation of the tournament budget throughout the process, and made financial statements to the IOC evaluation team on behalf of the Beijing Winter Olympics bid committee, demonstrating her core ability in handling important matters at the national level and external communication.

Following this appointment, PricewaterhouseCoopers China formed a vice-chairman team with Chairman and CEO Hemione Hudson (Hemione Hudson) as the core, and composed of Zhou Xing, Li Shangyi (Vice Chairman and Managing Partner), and Wang Xiao (Vice Chairman and Audit Managing Partner).
