The Zhitong Finance App learned that Mega Easy Innovation (03986) fell by more than 10%, down nearly 70% from the previous month's historical high of HK$1,248. As of press release, it was down 9.84% to HK$407, with a turnover of HK$2,474 billion.

According to the news, TrendForce recently released a storage price survey predicting that in the third quarter of 2026, traditional DRAM contract prices will rise 13% to 18% month-on-month, and NAND flash memory contract prices will rise 10% to 15%. This is still an impressive increase, but it has clearly slowed compared to about 60% increase in the second quarter. Mainly because the storage market is being split into two lines: enterprise customers and consumer customers, and the purchasing power of consumer customers may reach its limit.

Morgan Stanley said that the AI-driven semiconductor storage industry carnival is nearing an inflection point, and memory contract prices are expected to peak in the fourth quarter. The market's profit increase rate for storage manufacturers has slipped from a peak of 92% to 77%, and the valuations of SK Hynix and Samsung have both retracted. However, the cycle will “lengthen” rather than “collapse” — HBM's hard supply constraints and AI capital expenditure are still key supports, and the fate of commodity DRAM and high-end storage is rapidly diverging.
