According to the data, as of June 30, 2026, there were 5,535 listed companies in the domestic stock market, while the Shanghai, Shenzhen and North Stock Exchanges had 2,314, 2,898, and 323 respectively. By share type, there are only 5,263 A-share companies, 265 multi-share companies such as A+H and A+B, and only 7 B-share companies. Based on the closing price, the total market value of domestic stocks was 119.1 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.5 trillion yuan over the end of the previous quarter. Among them, the manufacturing industry accounted for 64.1% of the market capitalization, up 6.6 percentage points from the end of the previous quarter; the market capitalization of the electronics, communications, and mechanical equipment industry had the highest market capitalization growth, with market capitalization increasing by 12.9 trillion yuan, 2.2 trillion yuan, and 1.5 trillion yuan respectively from the end of the previous quarter.
