01:36 AM EDT, 07/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Curasight (CURAS.CO) said Monday it proposed changes to the ongoing phase 1 trial of its uTREAT radioligand therapy platform in glioblastoma patients to optimize the study design. Under the proposed amendments, newly enrolled patients would form a separate cohort receiving uTREAT without blood-brain barrier disruption using mannitol, allowing comparison with the initial cohort. The company also plans to increase the minimum study enrollment to ensure that at least six patients receive uTREAT without blood-brain barrier disruption. In addition, patients enrolled under the amended protocol would receive general anesthesia during the neurointerventional procedure. Curasight said it has submitted the proposed amendments to the relevant regulatory authorities and is awaiting approval.
