11:57 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kibo Energy (KIBO.L, KBO.JO) will be delisted from the London stock exchange's AIM segment on July 27 after failing to complete a proposed reverse takeover. The renewable energy-focused development company said it was unable to meet the conditions required to enter into binding heads of terms for the deal. Its shares have been suspended from trading on AIM since April 14, 2025. Kibo Energy is in early-stage talks about an alternative transaction, adding that the delisting will allow the negotiations to progress. It is also in talks with JSE Ltd. regarding its secondary listing on the Johannesburg bourse.
