The 175,000 cubic meter LNG carrier “Haineng”, independently developed and designed by China, was named and delivered in Dalian, Liaoning on July 24. The “Haineng” ship was built by CSSC Dalian Shipbuilding and CSSC Trading for China Merchants Shipping. It is equipped with a dual-fuel engine, generator, conventional fuel boiler, cargo handling system, and re-liquefaction device. The “Haineng” ship comprehensively optimizes the hull line type, propeller and energy-saving devices, and has achieved a comprehensive balance in terms of economy, flexibility, and compatibility, and can dock at most large LNG shore stations around the world.
