Shenzhen released its semi-annual economic report on July 24. According to the unified accounting results of the gross domestic product of Guangdong Province, in the first half of 2026, Shenzhen's GDP reached 1984.348 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8% over the previous year at constant prices. Specifically, in the first half of the year, Shenzhen's secondary sector added value of 714.465 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4%; the tertiary sector added value of 1268.655 billion yuan, an increase of 5.5%. Closer to the camera, industrial value added increased by 8.7%, investment in high-tech industries increased by 27.4%, and exports of high-tech products increased by 26.4%.
