For the first time, Chengdu systematically revealed its core path of “high standard planning and high-quality promotion” demonstration zone construction. According to the action plan revealed at the conference, Chengdu is planning to build the western Chengdu Science City and the Cheng-Chongqing Xinglong Lake Comprehensive Science Center to a high standard, and is making every effort to guarantee the construction of the National Laboratory. In addition, Chengdu has established a “chain leader+special class” mechanism to promote the strengthening, extension, and repair of 13 key industrial chains in the manufacturing industry. The goal is to establish 2 new national advanced manufacturing clusters and more than 7 industrial clusters characteristic of national small and medium-sized enterprises by 2027.
