According to Zhitong Finance App News, Huadian International (600027.SH) announced that as of June 30, 2026, the company and its subsidiaries (“Group”) had accumulated 107.785 billion kilowatt-hours of power generation in the first half of 2026, calculated according to the consolidated financial reporting caliber of China's accounting standards, a decrease of about 10.65% over the same period last year; completed feed-in power of 101,038 billion kilowatt-hours, a decrease of about 10.82% from the same period last year.

The main reason for the decline in power generation and feed-in electricity in the first half of 2026 was due to the combined effects of good incoming water conditions in areas rich in hydropower resources, the continued increase in installed capacity of new energy sources, and the addition of new coal power installations, which crowded out the power generation space of existing units. Furthermore, due to lower summer temperatures in regions where some of the Group's assets are located, peak load demand decreased, and the number of hours used by thermal power units declined. According to preliminary accounting, in the first half of 2026, the Group's average feed-in tariff was about 517.70 yuan/megawatt-hour, an increase of about 0.91 yuan/megawatt-hour over the same period last year, and an increase of about 0.18% over the previous year.

A 551,200-kilowatt gas generator set of Huadian (Chongqing) Combustion Engine Power Co., Ltd., which the company holds 100% of its shares, has recently been put into commercial operation.
