SGS Reports Lower H1 Attributable Profit; Revenue Rises

01:19 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SGS (SGSN.SW) said Friday its first-half attributable profit declined, while revenue grew year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders for the six months ended June 30 was 309 million francs, compared with 314 million francs a year earlier. EPS moved to 1.58 francs from 1.64 francs. The testing and certification company's sales were 3.68 billion francs, compared with 3.42 billion francs a year ago. Looking ahead, the company maintained its full-year 2026 outlook for 5% to 7% organic sales growth, and 5% to 7% additional sales from acquisitions. It also confirmed an organic sales growth target of 5% to 7% for 2027.
