According to the news, biotechnology and medical device company Thermo Fisher Fisher announced results for the second quarter ending June 27, 2026. The company achieved operating revenue of US$11.99 billion in the second quarter, an increase of 10% compared to US$10.855 billion in the same period in 2025; organic revenue increased 5% year-on-year according to non-GAAP standards.

Under GAAP, operating profit reached US$2.09 billion, up 14% year over year, and operating margin increased to 17.4% (16.9% in the same period last year); diluted earnings per share increased 9% year over year to $4.68. Under the non-GAAP scale, adjusted operating profit reached US$2,735 million, up 15% year on year, and adjusted operating margin climbed to 22.8%; adjusted earnings per share increased 13% year over year to $6.03.

Looking at specific business divisions, Thermo Fisher's four core segments achieved positive year-on-year revenue growth across the board: laboratory products and biomedical services, contributed US$6.693 billion in revenue in the second quarter, accounting for nearly 56% of total revenue, up about 11.6% year on year. Life sciences solutions generated revenue of $2,815 million, up 12.6% year over year. Analytical instrument revenue was US$1,847 million, up 6.9% year over year. Professional diagnosis revenue was US$1.25 billion, up 6.3% year over year.
