Johnson Matthey Completes Acquisition of Cormetech

10:41 AM EDT, 07/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Specialty chemicals company Johnson Matthey (JMAT.L) said Thursday it completed the acquisition of US-based Cormetech, which will be combined with its Clean Air Solutions business. The deal has an enterprise value of $360 million, plus a potential earn-out of up to $100 million payable in 2028 and 2029, subject to Cormetech meeting certain performance targets, Johnson Matthey said when it announced the deal in late May.
