These alternatives might include getting oil from Egypt's Sidi Kerir port in the Mediterranean rather than through Saudi Arabia's Red Sea hub port in Yamb. Traders said that if Asian buyers want to buy crude oil from the Mediterranean, Saudi Aramco may transport the oil from Yanbu to the port of Ain Sokhna in the Red Sea in Egypt and then to the north through pipelines. Another option is for the buyer to be responsible for the logistics transportation in Egypt after picking up the goods from Yanbu. The deal is still ongoing, and no final decision has yet been made.
