Southern Grid Energy Storage (600995.SH)'s net profit of 1,167 billion yuan in the first half of the year increased by 40.25% year-on-year

According to Zhitong Finance App News, Nanwang Energy Storage (600995.SH) announced its 2026 semi-annual performance report. In the first half of 2026, the company achieved operating income of 4.120 billion yuan, an increase of 24.83%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1,167 billion yuan, an increase of 40.25% year on year; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies after deducting non-recurring profit and loss was 1,162 billion yuan, an increase of 38.67% year on year.

The main reasons for the increase in performance: first, the incoming water from the Diaofeng Hydropower Plant is relatively good, and the power generation capacity increased year-on-year; second, the Meicheng Phase II, the Guangxi Nanning Pumping Station was put into operation (under construction in the same period last year), and the increase in electricity consumption and electricity costs in the spot market. The total assets of the company at the end of the reporting period were 63.786 billion yuan, up 7.92% from the beginning of the year; owners' equity attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 23.440 billion yuan, an increase of 3.58% over the beginning of the year.
