The Zhitong Finance App learned that basic semiconductors (09971) rose by more than 20%, reaching a new listing high of HK$56. As of press release, it rose 19.44% to HK$55.3, with a turnover of HK$668.91 million.

According to the news, Basic Semiconductor previously announced that prices for some products will be adjusted starting in the third quarter, with a maximum increase of no more than 25%, covering its core automotive/industrial grade silicon carbide power semiconductor modules, semiconductor discrete devices, and power semiconductor gate driver chips. It is worth mentioning that since this year, the power semiconductor industry has gone through two rounds of centralized price increase windows. In particular, around July, leading domestic and foreign power semiconductor companies issued price adjustment letters one after another.

According to reports, basic semiconductor products cover SiC power modules, SiC discrete devices, and power semiconductor gate drivers, and are used in scenarios such as new energy vehicles, renewable energy, and industrial control. The company has a scarce SiC product matrix and automotive-grade introduction base. SiC modules, discrete devices, and drivers can form a certain degree of collaboration, making it easier for a single device company to participate in the introduction of system-level solutions.
