Morgan Sindall Posts Higher H1 Attributable Profit, Revenue

Profit attributable to owners of the company for the six months ended June 30 was 87.1 million pounds sterling, compared with 73 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 1.774 pounds from 1.493 pounds. The British construction company's revenue was 2.56 billion pounds, compared with 2.37 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board proposed a dividend of 0.55 pound per share for the interim period, payable Oct. 22 to shareholders on record Oct. 2. It paid 0.50 pound per share in the year-ago period.
