CMB International: WAIC's focus is moving from the digital world to the physical world, optimistic about the development prospects of Tencent Holdings (00700) and others

The Zhitong Finance App learned that CMB International released a research report summarizing the three core trends of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC): 1. AI infrastructure optimization and exploration continues to be deepened; 2. AI continues to advance exploration from the digital world to the physical world; 3. AI continues to be implemented from application to terminal, and exploration scenarios are fully rolled out.

According to the report, in terms of AI infrastructure, Huawei exhibited the Shengteng 950 supernode offline, and the Alibaba-W (09988) Pingtou Ge Panjiu AL128 supernode integrated 128 M890 chips in a single cabinet. In terms of physical intelligence, Ant Group's Lingbot-VLA 2.0 has been adapted to more than 20 robot configurations from 17 manufacturers including Leju, Zhiyuan, and Yushu; JD Group - SW (09618) JoyInside has cooperated with nearly 200 brands and plans to connect more than 10 million terminals in 2026.

In terms of large models, Dark Side of the Moon released the Kimi K3 open source basic model, with total parameters reaching 2.8 trillion; Step Star showcased the Step series base model matrix; and MiniMax-W (00100) showcased the flagship model M3. At the AI application level, Tencent Holdings (00700) WorkBuddy launched an independent app; Alibaba released the Secowu Team Edition; and Shangtang-W (00200) released Seko 3.0, an AI video generation application. Under the AI theme, the bank continues to be optimistic about the development prospects of Tencent, Alibaba, Smart Spectrum (02513) and MiniMax.
