Investors who take an interest in Invisio AB (publ) (STO:IVSO) should definitely note that the Vice President Operations, Roger Skaaby, recently paid kr200 per share to buy kr2.0m worth of the stock. That's a very solid buy in our book, and increased their holding by a noteworthy 48%.
Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by President & CEO Lars Hansen for kr4.9m worth of shares, at about kr244 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, even at a higher price than the current share price (being kr212). While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. In our view, the price an insider pays for shares is very important. It is generally more encouraging if they paid above the current price, as it suggests they saw value, even at higher levels.

Another way to test the alignment between the leaders of a company and other shareholders is to look at how many shares they own. I reckon it's a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. It appears that Invisio insiders own 1.3% of the company, worth about kr123m. This level of insider ownership is good but just short of being particularly stand-out. It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
