The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Development and Reform Commission recently jointly issued the “Fifteenth Five-Year Plan for the Revitalization and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine”, which proposes ten key tasks, including improving the high-quality traditional Chinese medicine service system, enhancing the health service capabilities of traditional Chinese medicine throughout the life cycle, promoting high-quality development of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, and promoting the inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine. According to the plan, by 2030, the traditional Chinese medicine service system covering the entire population and the entire life cycle will be more complete, new breakthroughs will be made in traditional Chinese medicine prevention and treatment of major diseases, basic research capabilities will be greatly improved, the innovation and creativity of the traditional Chinese medicine industry will be greatly enhanced, traditional Chinese medicine culture and international influence will be further enhanced, and the revitalization and development of traditional Chinese medicine will reach a new level, so that everyone can enjoy traditional Chinese medicine services.
