The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 21, Ant International announced the completion of Series A financing. According to media reports, the current round of financing amounts to about 1.2 billion US dollars. Investors include Ant Group and some existing shareholders, including Alibaba, and a number of internationally renowned investment institutions. The funds raised will be used to expand global business, invest in cutting-edge technology, and expand inclusive fintech services such as cross-border payments and global accounts.
The report said that this round of financing may speed up its possible Hong Kong listing plan. In May 2025, Ant International was the first to spread the news of the listing. Media reports said that Ant International plans to go public in Hong Kong. In June 2026, media once again indicated that Ant International plans to raise about 1 billion US dollars to accelerate business expansion and pave the way for listing in Hong Kong as soon as possible within the year.
Sources revealed that Ant's international listing is already anticipated, and this round of financing may be aimed at increasing its revenue scale.
According to public information, Ant International spun off from Ant Group in 2024 and began independent operation. It is headquartered in Singapore and is a core subsidiary of Ant Group responsible for global business. The business covers major markets such as Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. It has connected more than 150 million global merchants and more than 2 billion consumer accounts, and has innovation, settlement and operation centers in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
Ant International has four major business segments: Alipay+ (cross-border mobile payment and digital platform), Antom (merchant payment and digital services), Bettr (financial services for inclusive scenarios), and WorldFirst (one-stop overseas accounts and fund management services). It focuses on improving global payment connectivity, developing AI-based technology-driven merchant payment, treasury management and fintech solutions, and has built an extensive cooperative network with domestic and foreign financial institutions, technology companies and merchants.
