On July 21, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology held a press conference on the economic performance of Beijing's industry and information software industry in the first half of 2026. At the conference, it was announced that at the end of last year, Beijing issued the “Three-Year Action Plan for Beijing Digital Economy Enterprises to Go Overseas and Build an Innovative Service Base” to clarify the goals and tasks for Beijing enterprises to go overseas in the next three years. Combining the operating practices of Beijing's overseas base with the core demands of nearly 100 digital economy enterprises, Beijing recently released “Beijing's Certain Measures to Accelerate the Expansion of Digital Economy Enterprises” around the three dimensions of expanding channels, strengthening services, and building ecology, and introduced ten financial and resource support measures to reduce the burden on the international development of enterprises in all aspects. The policy mainly focuses on the following three aspects: 1. Broadening overseas docking channels to solve market expansion problems; 2. Improving supporting services throughout the process to reduce cross-border compliance costs; 3. Cultivating an international digital ecosystem and building the capital's overseas brand.
