The total market value of the global digital economy industry (03708) was HK$10.752 million, of which shareholders deposited 56 million shares with Chong Hing Bank

The Zhitong Finance App learned that the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange shows that on July 21, the world digital economy industry (03708) experienced position changes, with a total market value of 10.752 million HK$10.52 million, accounting for 7.70%. The company's shareholders deposited 56 million shares in Chong Hing Bank, increasing their shareholding ratio by 7.70%.

Earlier, the world digital economy industry issued an announcement. All the prerequisites specified in the subscription agreement have been met, and the completion was confirmed on June 25, 2026. A total of 56 million subscribed shares accounted for (i) approximately 8.34% of the Company's current issued share capital at the date of this announcement; and (ii) approximately 7.70% of the Company's issued share capital expanded through allotment and issuance of subscribed shares, which have been successfully issued to the subscribed parties at a subscription price of HK$0.18 per share. The net proceeds from the subscription were approximately HK$1.07 million. The Company intends to use the proceeds from the subscription as the general working capital of the Group.
