Philips Wins US FDA Clearance for Reusable Pulse Oximetry Clip Sensor

11:24 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Koninklijke Philips (PHIA.AS) secured a 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration for its reusable pulse oximetry clip sensor that measures oxygen saturation in the blood, or SpO2. The sensor is equipped with internal optical refinements to further enhance signal quality and measurement consistency when measuring the oxygenation status of patients, the Dutch health technology company said Tuesday. The company's SpO2 clip sensor is set to be rolled out in select international markets later in 2026.
