Hunter Group Says Disputed Charter Payments Rise to $36.1 Million

06:24 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hunter Group (HUNT.OL) said it continues to dispute the reduced charter hire paid by one of its long-term contractual counterparties. The maritime and energy-focused investor said Tuesday that the counterparty underpaid $7.9 million for June, bringing the total disputed amount since March to $36.1 million, excluding interest. It said the counterparty has no basis for the reduced payment and considers it to be in continued breach of contract.
