The Chinese name of Chia Tai Enterprise International (03839) changed to “Chia Tai Biotech Holdings Limited”

After shareholders approved the proposed change of company name by means of a special resolution at the annual shareholders' meeting held on June 9, 2026, the Registrar of Companies of Bermuda issued a certificate of name change and a second name certificate on July 1, 2026 and June 29, 2026, respectively, to prove that the company's English name has been changed from “Chia Tai Enterprises International Limited” to “CPBIO Holding Company Limited”;

Also, the second Chinese name has been changed from “Chia Tai Enterprise International Limited” to “Chia Tai Biotech Holdings Limited”. Both were entered in the Bermuda Registrar's Register of Companies on June 29, 2026.

The Registrar of Hong Kong Companies issued a certificate of registration for a change of name for a registered non-Hong Kong company on July 13, 2026, confirming the registration of the new English name “CPBIO Holding Company Limited” and the new Chinese name “Chia Tai Biotech Holdings Limited” in Hong Kong under Part 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Chapter 622 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

Starting at 9:00 a.m. on July 24, 2026, the English stock abbreviation for shares traded on the Stock Exchange will be changed from “CT ENTERPRISE” to “CPBIO”, and the Chinese stock abbreviation will be changed from “Chia Tai Enterprise International” to “Chia Tai Biotech”. The company's stock code on the Stock Exchange remains unchanged and remains “3839”.
