China Shenhua (01088)'s coal sales volume in the first half of the year was 3002 million tons, up 1.8% year on year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Shenhua (01088) announced that in June 2026, commercial coal production was 42.7 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.4%; coal sales volume was 50.5 million tons, a decrease of 4.9% year-on-year.

In January-June, commercial coal production was 250 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%; coal sales were 300.2 million tons, up 1.8% year-on-year.

In the first half of 2026, the company's production and operation trend was stable and improving, and the transportation, power generation, and coal chemical business operation indicators all achieved year-on-year growth. Among them, the main reason for the year-on-year increase in shipping freight volume was the year-on-year increase in downstream coal demand; the main reason for the year-on-year increase in oil sales volume was that coal-to-oil production equipment had a low base in the same period last year due to process upgrades and parking; and the main reason for the year-on-year increase in ethylene glycol sales was that ethylene glycol production was low in the same period last year.
