C&D International Group (01908) plans to invest 1,195 billion yuan to cooperate with MediaTek to develop commercial and residential land in Jimei District, Xiamen

According to the Zhitong Finance App, C&D International Group (01908) announced that the project company successfully competed for land use rights for the project plot on June 24, 2026, at a total cost of RMB 2,056 billion. On July 17, 2026, MediaTek and Yiyue entered into a cooperation agreement. According to this, the contracting parties agreed to develop and build residential and/or commercial projects on the project site through the project company. Yiyue (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) and MediaTek Group respectively own 49% and 51% of the rights in the project company. The estimated capital commitment amount payable by Yiyue to the project company is RMB 1,195 billion.

The project plot includes two parcels of land, namely the Xiting plot and the Qiaoying plot.

The Xiting plot is located on the west side of the intersection of Chengyi Middle Road and Xiting Yingchuan Road in the Xinglinwan Area, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China. The land area is about 38,289 square meters, and the total estimated construction area is not more than 80,400 square meters. The land use of the Xiting plot is second-class urban residential land, commercial land (retail, childcare institutions), and land for urban community service facilities (cultural leisure, sports and fitness). The land use rights concession period is 70 years for residential and urban community service facilities; 40 years for commercial and childcare institutions.

The Qiaoying plot is located on the east side of the intersection of Fenglin Road and Xunjiang North 2nd Road, Fenglin District, Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China. The land area is about 21,240 square meters, and the total estimated construction area is not more than 44,600 square meters. Qiaoying's land uses are second-class urban residential land, retail commercial land, and urban community service facility land. The land use rights concession period is 70 years for housing and 40 years for commerce.

The announcement stated that the conclusion of a cooperation agreement will help the Group increase its land reserves and continue to cultivate the Xiamen market; enable the Group and MediaTek Group to collaborate using their respective advantages in developing project plots to improve the efficiency of land development and operation and capital use, thus sharing their risks and benefits.
