He stressed that we should adhere to the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important remarks on national food security, promote the full and effective implementation of the Food Security and Security Law, and provide legal guarantees for consolidating the country's food security foundation. Law enforcement inspection teams have successively carried out on-site inspections in Anhui and Henan. While in Anhui, I visited Hefei to inspect the development and revitalization of the seed industry, food production and operation, and safety control work; inspect the results of centralized and continuous land remediation; investigate the operation of the People's Democratic Grassroots Practice Station throughout the process; and visited Fuyang to inspect the construction of grain production bases, agricultural services, and grain procurement, storage, and processing. While in Henan, I visited Zhoukou to inspect the breeding of good wheat varieties to promote industrialized development, social services to benefit farmers, the integration of grain and oil products into a unified national market by water transportation, agricultural insurance and storage; visited Zhengzhou to inspect the development of the sophisticated grain processing industry and investigate the operation of the National Engineering Laboratory for Wheat and the application of good seed breeding.
