On July 17, Hangzhou Customs announced Zhejiang Province's import and export data for the first half of 2026. In the current period, Zhejiang's imports and exports amounted to 2.97 trillion yuan, an increase of 8.6% over the previous year; of these, exports were 2.26 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.2%; and imports were 703.16 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7%. Imports, exports, and imports account for 11.7%, 15.4%, and 6.5% of the country respectively. In the first half of the year, Zhejiang's export structure accelerated, and exports of high-tech products increased by 1.0 percentage point to 9.3%. Among them, exports of ships, marine engineering equipment, and new materials increased by 27.9% and 86.3% respectively, and exports of intelligent bionic robots amounted to 430 million yuan, accounting for 60.2% of the country's exports of similar products.
