Yisheng Biotechnology (01061)'s profit warning expects medium-term profit to decrease by about 30% year-on-year

Zhitong Finance App News, Yisheng Biotechnology (01061) issued an announcement. The Group expects revenue and profit for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (mid-term period 2026) to be reduced by about 10% and 30% respectively compared to the Group's revenue of HK$887 million and profit of HK$163 million for the same period in 2025, mainly due to the increase in value-added tax borne by the Group after China implemented the new value tax law.

Despite this situation, the Group maintained a steady cash flow and financial position to meet its business needs. As at 30 June 2026, the Group's cash and cash equivalents were approximately HK$807 million.
