Toyota Auto Body, a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation, reported to Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on July 15 that it has recalled a total of 11,467 single-seat compact pure electric vehicles “COMS” due to defective parking brakes. There were 32 reports of faults such as brake failure. The company also carried out a recall in January of this year due to faulty parking brake lines, and some of the target vehicles overlapped.
