The per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents in some counties is already on par with first-tier cities in northern Guangzhou. According to the reporter's statistics, in 2025, the per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents in at least 13 counties exceeded 53,000 yuan, which is already comparable to that of going north. Among them, the per capita consumption expenditure of urban residents in the five counties of Yueqing, Yuhuan, Yiwu, Wenling, and Haiyan exceeds that of all first-tier cities.
