The Zhitong Finance App learned that most domestic housing stocks rose. As of press release, China Overseas Development (00688) rose 3.82% to HK$13.58; Vanke Enterprise (02202) rose 3.33% to HK$2.48; China Resources Land (01109) rose 3.09% to HK$34.68; and Greentown China (03900) rose 3.07% to HK$7.39.

According to the news, on July 15, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that the real estate market experienced positive changes in many areas in the first half of the year: housing prices in first-tier cities rose sequentially for 4 consecutive months, transactions in the second-hand housing market were active, and the area for sale of commercial housing declined for 4 consecutive months. Mao Shengyong, deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, explained at the press conference of the State Information Office that the current second-hand housing transaction area is comparable to the sales area of new housing, and the total number of new and second-hand housing transactions has continued to grow positively in the past 3 months.

Open Source Securities pointed out that in the first half of 2026, the real estate industry was still in a fragmented pattern of weak sales repair and supply contraction. The continued decline in inventory of new homes indicates that the demand side of the market is slowly recovering, and the effects of the inventory removal policy are beginning to show. The investment side is exploring the bottom at an accelerated pace. The financial pressure on housing enterprises has not abated, and the market's endogenous recovery momentum is still weak. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, the trend of market stabilization is expected to continue under the policy side of removing inventory and controlling growth, compounding the low base effect.
