China Automobile Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance: China's total power and energy storage battery production increased 7.5% month-on-month in June

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to data from the China Automobile Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in June, China's total output of power and energy storage batteries was 206.0 GWh, up 7.5% month-on-month and 59.5% year-on-year. From January to June, China's cumulative output of power and energy storage batteries was 1068.9 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 53.3%.

In terms of sales volume:

In June, the sales volume of power and energy storage batteries in China was 196.0 GWh, up 7.6% month-on-month and 49.1% year-on-year. Among them, power battery sales were 133.4 GWh, accounting for 68.1% of total sales, up 5.0% month-on-month and 41.8% year-on-year; energy storage battery sales were 62.6 GWh, accounting for 31.9% of total sales, up 13.4% month-on-month and 67.5% year-on-year.

From January to June, the cumulative sales volume of power and energy storage batteries in China was 979.4 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 48.6%. Among them, the cumulative sales volume of power batteries was 661.3 GWh, accounting for 67.5% of total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 36.2%; the cumulative sales volume of energy storage batteries was 318.1 GWh, accounting for 32.5% of total sales, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 83.4%.

On the export side:

In June, China exported a total of 36.2 GWh of power and energy storage batteries, up 23.7% month-on-month and 48.7% year-on-year, accounting for 18.5% of the month's sales. Among them, the export volume of power batteries was 25.5 GWh, accounting for 70.3% of the total export volume, up 26.6% month-on-month and 60.8% year-on-year; the export volume of energy storage batteries was 10.7 GWh, accounting for 29.7% of total exports, up 17.3% month-on-month and 26.1% year-on-year.

From January to June, China exported a total of 181.3 GWh of power and energy storage batteries, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 42.5%, accounting for 18.5% of cumulative sales. Among them, the cumulative export volume of power batteries was 122.7 GWh, accounting for 67.7% of the total export volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 50.3%; the cumulative export volume of energy storage batteries was 58.6 GWh, accounting for 32.3% of the total export volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 28.5%.

In terms of loading volume:

In June, domestic power battery loading volume was 76.5 GWh, up 6.4% month-on-month and 31.5% year-on-year. Among them, the loading volume of ternary batteries was 12.7 GWh, accounting for 16.5% of the total load volume, down 5.5% from the previous month, up 18.1% year on year; the loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 63.7 GWh, accounting for 83.3% of the total loading volume, up 9.2% month on month, up 34.4% year on year.

From January to June, the cumulative load volume of domestic power batteries was 335.6 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 12.0%. Among them, the cumulative loading volume of ternary batteries was 63.4 GWh, accounting for 18.9% of the total loading volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 14.2%; the cumulative loading volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 272.0 GWh, accounting for 81.0% of the total loading volume, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 11.5%.
