Deutsche Bank appoints Jennifer Tay as Vice Chairman of Private Banking Southeast Asia

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Deutsche Bank Private Bank has appointed Jennifer Tay as Vice Chairman for Southeast Asia to further strengthen its regional private banking business. Tay will officially join on August 3 to report to Johanes Oeni, Head of Southeast Asia at Deutsche Bank's Private Banking Division. Tay will work closely with Oeni and Southeast Asia management teams to deepen relationships with key private banking customers, strengthen senior customer coverage, and support the continued expansion of Deutsche Bank's “One Bank Solutions” (one-stop banking solutions) within the region.

According to data, prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Tay worked at Citibank for more than 20 years and held several senior positions as wealth management and client advisors. Most recently, he was a market manager in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand, and also led the investment advisory business in southern Asia. In this role, she is responsible for client development, strategic planning and business development in multiple markets, and personally serves ultra-high net worth clients in Singapore and Indonesia. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions in fiduciary investment management, portfolio advisory and investment consulting, leading teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, the Middle East and London, and collaborating with institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds.
