EQT-linked Windflower Sweetens Offer for Australia's Perpetual Ltd.

06:44 AM EDT, 07/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Australian financial services company Perpetual Ltd. received a higher takeover offer of AU$22.07 per share from Windflower, a company indirectly controlled by Swedish private equity group EQT (EQT.ST). Perpetual, which previously rejected Windflower's AU$21.64 per share offer, said Wednesday the revised nonbinding and indicative proposal is subject to the completion of its wealth management business to Bain Capital and regulatory clearances, among other conditions. The target company is evaluating the proposal, but there is no certainty that the offer will result in a binding offer.
