Zhitong Finance App News, Shanxi Installation (02520) announced that on July 14, 2026, the Group signed an EPC general contracting contract for an overseas project with a contract amount of about RMB 1.5 billion. This is the Group's first key project to be implemented in the Middle East.
The company won the bid for the Oman Al Kamil Phase 1 500MW photovoltaic project EPC general contracting project (Oman project). The project is located in the Al Kamil Wafi region of Oman, about 230 km from Muscat International Airport and about 440 km from Sohar Port. The scope of the project includes the design, manufacture, procurement, supply, factory testing, transportation, installation, construction, connection to high-voltage substations, testing and commissioning of photovoltaic power plants, as well as two and a half years of operation and maintenance work.
The Oman project is the Group's first major project in the Middle East region, marking the Group's successful entry into the Middle East, an important global new energy market. The Group won the bid for the project as the EPC general contractor, reflecting the full recognition of the Group's engineering strength by top international developers, and laid a solid foundation for the Group to further cultivate the Middle East market and participate in subsequent large-scale new energy projects in the region.
