On July 15, Tencent Cloud announced that in order to ensure the stability of the cloud database MySQL service, prevent long-term overuse of the storage space of the local disk instance from affecting resource security, and maintain the fairness of resource use, Tencent Cloud will bill the portion of the overused storage space of the cloud database MySQL local disk instance starting at 00:00:00 on August 1, 2026. Overuse of storage space that occurred prior to entry into force will not be retroactively charged for overuse.
