According to a report by Interface News, on July 13, Dongfang Computing Core officially released the DF1000, the world's first 3D chip with high computing power. This is the world's first high-computing power AI chip using a 3D architecture. It is based on a nationwide supply chain, combined with software-defined near-memory computing and 3D hybrid bonding technology to achieve key breakthroughs in computing power and storage efficiency, providing a new path that is both innovative and feasible for the development of domestic AI chips. According to enterprise survey data, as of July 14, there were 423,300 domestic chip-related companies. The number of chip-related company registrations has shown an overall growth trend in the past ten years. The number of registrations for the full year of 2025 exceeded 80,000, an increase of 19.91% over the previous year to 88,600, a record high of registrations in the past ten years. Up to now, 45,000 companies have been registered this year. In terms of inventory, judging from the operating time, enterprises that have been established for 1 to 3 years account for the highest proportion, reaching 29.63%. In terms of regional distribution, chip-related companies are mainly distributed in South China and East China, accounting for 35.39% and 33.26% respectively.
