The Information Office of the State Council held a press conference today to introduce China's foreign trade operations since this year. Since this year, China's exports have grown by more than 10% and have continued to grow for 11 consecutive quarters. The root cause of the increase in exports is the precise adaptation of “Made in China” to various global needs. It can be viewed from the following four aspects: First, the UN report shows that the growth in global trade in goods since this year has mainly focused on fields related to artificial intelligence. Global demand for computing power, data centers and terminal equipment continues to expand, boosting exports of related products in China. In the first half of the year, China's exports of electronic components, computer parts and other products all grew by double digits, driving a total export increase of 6.9 percentage points; intelligent bionic robots deeply integrated with AI technology were exported to more than 10,000 units, covering more than 90 countries and regions around the world. Second, at present, the global green and low-carbon transformation is progressing further, and the construction of new energy sources and rising consumer demand are highly compatible with China's green products. In the first half of the year, China's exports of green energy-related products such as lithium batteries and wind turbines increased by 37.6% and 35.6% respectively; green mobility products such as electric vehicles, railway electric locomotives, electric motorcycles and bicycles increased by 68.7%, 45.1% and 31.5% respectively. Third, in the first half of the year, China exported 540.24 billion yuan and 214.99 billion yuan of special equipment, ships and marine engineering equipment, up 24.4% and 19.9% respectively. From smart excavators to heavy gas turbines to offshore platforms, a batch of Chinese equipment has played a key role in major projects in various countries. “Made in China” provides optimal solutions for different countries and regions and different application scenarios. Fourth, the situation in the Middle East was tense in the first half of this year, and the global supply of chemicals was tight. With a complete industrial system and supporting capabilities throughout the chain, China quickly catches sudden external demand. In the first half of the year, China's exports of basic organic chemicals and primary plastics increased by 25.1% and 35% respectively, meeting the production needs of enterprises and ensuring the stability of the related production supply chain. China's stable supply chain is becoming a key hub for win-win cooperation between all parties in the world. We will continue to use China's capabilities to meet the needs of the world, inject more certainty into global economic and trade cooperation, and release stronger new momentum.
