European Commission Probes Possible Gun Jumping in XXXLutz Group-Porta Merger

The bloc's executive body said July 10 that the probe will focus on potential gun-jumping in the implementation of the transaction. The commission clarified that the investigation is separate from the review of the potential impact on competition of the Austria-based furniture and home furnishings retailer XXXLutz Group's proposed acquisition.
