The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 10, the Lingyi Intelligent Manufacturing (01688) announcement showed that the company held the 26th meeting of the 6th board of directors to review and pass the “Proposal to Participate in the Reorganization and Investment of Fortis Group (Jiashan) Communication Technology Co., Ltd.” The company plans to participate in the restructuring investment of Fortis Jiashan through the company's holding subsidiary, and plans to obtain control and management rights of Fortis Jiashan related restructuring assets and business with an estimated total cost of the restructuring investment not exceeding RMB 4 billion.

Fortis Jiashan: 10 billion intelligent manufacturing base, covering all types of optical fiber products

According to public information, Fortis Jiashan is located in Xitang Town, Jiashan County, Jiaxing City. It has the world's leading integrated optical communication production line. It specializes in R&D, manufacturing and sales of optical fiber prefabricated rods, optical fibers, optical cables, optical devices, and optical systems in the optical communications industry chain.

According to the 2019 provincial key construction and pre-arrangement project plan announced by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Fortis Jiashan's optical fiber optic rod project was included in Jiaxing City as one of the 69 provincial key construction projects, involving the construction of a new prefabricated fiber rod with an annual output of 30 million core kilometers (1,000 tons), 30 million core kilometer optical fiber, and 30 million core kilometer optical cable projects.
